We hand-pick our local Organic Seaweed, fresh and wild, from the shore. We wash the seaweed at the shore and in the factory. Our internal washing system uses Ultrasound waves to eliminate heavy metals. At this point, part of the fresh seaweed is blended with Organic vegetable oils and sonicated to obtain concentrated crude extracts.

Algaran uses a unique process to make cold extracts from any seaweed type. We operate an ultrasound-assisted extraction method, able to burst the strong seaweed cells, obtaining a rich extract for primary use. This way, we get a fresh by-product that can be used for many other purposes.

We dry the rest of the seaweed at low temperatures with dehumidifiers and fans.

We mill part of the dried seaweed to obtain the powder for our Food Supplements.
