Seaweed Oil

Traditionally people, incorrectly, refer to the gel that covers the surface of seaweed laying on the shore as oil. However seaweed only contains a small percentage of fats so other organic oils are added to enhance our seaweed oil products.

Algaran Seaweed Oil is an extraction of fresh seaweed in vegetable oil. Normally we use Sunflower Oil or Jojoba Oil, as they seem to perform better.

The essential oils added have the following properties:

Lavender oil (Lavandula angustifolia), has antifungal properties and reduces inflammation, it also can help skin disorders. The lavender oil helps cleanse your skin and lessen redness and irritation.

Geranium Oil (Pelargonium graveolens), can help eliminating the skin dead cells and promotes the regeneration of the new skin. It is proven to be antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory

Ylang ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), can improve the appearance of the skin and can help skin conditions. It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-septic properties.

The mix of the above oil is also helping relaxing and calming.

The nutrients contained in the fresh seaweed, through the ultrasound system, are transferred into the oil, which is filtered and mixed with the other ingredients. Once processed, the oil is bottled.

The appearance of seaweed oil is of a thick liquid, green or red depending on the seaweed, and transparent. The consistency is slightly waxy and tends not to be too easily adsorbed by the skin. In this way, it will allow the right time to perform an effective massage.
